DUE APRIL 1st.
I think that old barns are really rustic and beautiful. I don't think that it is really that terrible that barns like this are disappearing because then people will have the room to build new houses and have more crops to harvest in the Fall and then we will have really beautiful photos to take for Graphic Design.
ReplyDeleteI think the old barns were neat and make awesome photos. Old barns leave people with memory. Parents/grandparents are sad that their old moments are being torn apart, where they used to play. Us teenagers won't have things to show our children.
ReplyDeleteI used to hate living in Iowa and hate our old barn. Now I miss it and can truly say that I'm disappointed that I moved and lost access to my barn. I can now appreciate the beauty and history behind each building and like to imagine what kind of things happened in them and each buildings' story. It saddens me that people do not appreciate these buildings and hopefully more people will restore and save these old structures from ruin. I look forward to capturing some of these pieces of history in this assignment.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me sad that part of our history is disappearing or even being restored. I think that old barns possess great beauty. Old barns have a big impact on this area, especially since we live in Iowa. I plan on finding a fantastic and shooting it in a way that it shows beauty in it's decaying.
ReplyDeleteI have always liked old barns. My father and I used to go on sunday drives and seek old barns and appreciate them. I can't wait to take a picture of this barn i have grown up with.
ReplyDeleteI think old barns are amazing. They remind me of when I was a kid playing in my grandpas barn. They are very unique to take pictures in. Barns remind me of something that used to brand new but over the years it turned into something that is old yet still new. The beauty will be with it threw its life.
ReplyDeleteI like barns because they are a connection to our history. My grandparents' barn is over 100 years old. It is amazing to think about the history that has surrounded that barn for over a century. My grandfather grew up around that barn and lives there to this day. It is sad to see barns in a state of decay, but it also makes for wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteI love old barns! They show so much history! I used to love going to my grandparents house and playing in the barns. It is interesting to think about how active and new they used to be.
ReplyDeleteI like to look of old barns. To me the represent a time the newer generations will never get the chance to see. The old barns that are still around won't always be here, but we should take care of the ones that are still around. I remember playing in Katie's barn all the time when I was younger and those are memories I will never forget. Old barns make for amazing memories and pictures.
ReplyDeleteI think that old barns are very cool looking. They remind me of the old days when they were simpler. If the barn was in your family it could tell a story or hold a memory. It makes me feel sad that all of these memories are just being torn down and they can never be replaced.
ReplyDeleteI like passing by old barns along the road, the oldness of them is what I think makes them look awesome! I don't like that old wooden barns are disappearing because the metal barns that get old aren't as cool. I can't wait to go out and find the coolest old barn ever!
ReplyDeleteI love old barns. My house used to be actual farm but now, we just use our old barn for storage. I love to go up in the hayloft and just read or listen to my ipod and look out the window. I think that old barns make really good inspiration for photos and you can edit them to make them look any way you want: spooky, rustic, and even calming. Different people can feel different things from remembering past fun times with friends running around in their barn or just helping a family member milk cows and feed the pigs. There are a vast number of things that you can do with an old barn. Even if you haven't experienced actually being in a barn or anything like that you can still imagine and in that way feel like you are actually there!
ReplyDeleteI like old barns they are a symbol of the old days when stuff actually got done and the world was not ran by technology and Barak Obama. They are a real symbol of the blood sweat and tears that built this country.
ReplyDeleteI love taking old barn pictures! I went to the Amana Colonies to take my pictures and they turned out good!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited about this project. I love how old barns look. I have a lot around where i live. Since my family and the people around us are farmers, old barns mean a lot to them. Its always sad when they deteriorate.
